How it works

    Line items, taxes, due date, your logo and color. Email it from Zaptrain, or copy the link and send it yourself over WhatsApp, SMS or your own email.

    Your customer scans the QR with any Lightning wallet. The invoice flips to Paid and the sats land in your Lexe wallet — no waiting, no payout schedule, no one in between.

Getting started

One-time setup, about five minutes.

Everything you need is a free Lexe wallet and a Zaptrain account. No bank, no processor, no approval wait.

  1. On your phoneDownload Lexe

    Get the Lexe app for iPhone or Android and sign up. Lexe is a self-custody Bitcoin Lightning wallet: your keys are managed inside secure hardware that Lexe cannot access, only you can move the funds, and it receives payments even while your phone is offline.

  2. In LexeCreate a Receiver credential

    Open Lexe → Menu → Client credentials → Create. Set the role to Receiver and copy the credential.

  3. On zaptrain.comCreate your Zaptrain account

    Sign up with a business or personal name and an email. No ID, no KYC, no bank details — Zaptrain never holds your money. Then paste the Lexe credential in Settings; Zaptrain tests the connection and confirms it's a Receiver credential.

  4. SettingsAdd your branding

    Business name, logo, brand color and a default memo. They appear on every invoice email and payment page your customers see.

  5. InvoicesIssue your first invoice

    Add line items, taxes and a due date. Email it from Zaptrain, or copy the link and send it by WhatsApp, SMS or your own email.

  6. DoneGet paid straight into your Lexe wallet

    Your customer scans the QR with any Lightning wallet. The invoice flips to Paid on your dashboard and the sats are in your Lexe wallet.

Why receive-only? A Receiver credential lets Zaptrain create payment requests and see when they're paid — nothing else. Money can come in; none can leave your wallet through Zaptrain. Once your Lexe app is up to date, Zaptrain checks the credential with Lexe when you connect and refuses anything that can spend.

Add a name and email when you want Zaptrain to send the invoice, or leave them out and share the payment link yourself.
